Terms and Conditions
For TGFM classes
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all classes, services, and products provided by The Gymnast Fit Method (TGFM)
1.2 By enrolling in or attending any of our classes, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Registration and Payment
2.1 Enrollment: All gymnasts must complete an online registration form, providing accurate and up-to-date personal information.
2.2 Payment Terms: Full payment for each month or term must be made prior to the commencement of classes. Failure to make timely payment may result in the cancellation of the gymnast’s place.
2.3 Late Payments: Late payments may incur an additional fee and could result in the loss of the participant’s place in the class.
2.4 Refunds: No refunds will be issued for missed classes, except in exceptional circumstances (e.g., long-term medical conditions with supporting documentation).
2.5 Class Fees: Class fees are subject to change. TGFM will notify members of any fee changes at least one month in advance.
2.6 Monthly Membership Policy:
Membership begins on the date of the first class, not the signup date, ensuring no time is lost before the first session.
Monthly membership covers four classes per month at a rate of £45. In months with more than four class days (e.g., five Mondays in November), the additional class(es) provided will help offset our holiday breaks for Christmas (two weeks) and Easter (two weeks).
Membership runs for a full 30-day period from the first class date (e.g., if the first class is on the 1st, membership will run until the 1st of the following month).
Members must provide at least one month’s notice to cancel via email. After the final monthly payment is processed, the membership will remain active until the end of that 30-day period.
No refunds are provided for unused classes if a member cancels before the end of the membership term, but they may attend remaining classes during that period.
3. Cancellations and Termination
3.1 Cancellations by Members: If a member wishes to cancel their membership, notice must be given in via email at least four weeks in advance.
3.2 Cancellations by TGFM: TGFM reserves the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, venue issues, etc.). In such cases, alternative classes or makeup sessions will be offered.
3.3 Termination of Membership: TGFM reserves the right to terminate membership if the participant fails to comply with club rules, engages in inappropriate behavior, or is disruptive to the class environment.
4. Safety and Well-Being
4.1 Health and Fitness: It is the responsibility of the participant and/or their parent/guardian to ensure that they are physically fit to participate in gymnastics classes. TGFM accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained where it is clear that participants have not followed advice or have hidden known conditions.
4.2 Medical Conditions: All participants must inform TGFM of any relevant medical conditions that could affect their ability to safely participate in classes.
4.3 Injuries: TGFM instructors are first aid trained, but TGFM accepts no liability for injuries sustained in the gym. All injuries should be reported immediately to the instructor, and parents/guardians must provide emergency contact details.
4.4 Clothing and Equipment: Participants must wear appropriate clothing, such as leotards or fitted sportswear, and remove all jewellery for safety reasons.
5. Liability
5.1 TGFM accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
5.2 TGFM is not liable for any personal injuries or health conditions that arise from participation in gymnastics classes, except where negligence is proven.
6. Code of Conduct
6.1 Behavior: All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards instructors and fellow gymnasts. Disruptive or harmful behavior will not be tolerated.
6.2 Parent/Guardian Responsibility: Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child arrives and is picked up promptly at the start and end of each session. TGFM cannot be held responsible for children outside of class hours.
6.3 Instructor Authority: TGFM coaches and instructors have full authority during the class to enforce all rules to maintain a safe and productive environment.
7. Photography and Video
7.1 Permission: By attending TGFM classes, you agree that TGFM may take photographs or video footage of classes for promotional purposes. If you do not wish for your child’s image to be used, please notify TGFM in writing at the time of registration.
7.2 No Filming by Participants: Participants and parents/guardians are not permitted to film or take photographs during classes without prior consent.
8. Data Protection
8.1 Personal Data: TGFM will collect and process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. We will use this data only for the purposes of administering classes and communicating with participants.
8.2 Consent: By providing us with personal data, you consent to us using this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
9.1 TGFM reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Participants will be notified of any changes in writing or via email at least one term in advance.
10. Complaints
10.1 Any complaints regarding TGFM classes or services should be made in writing to the club manager at thegymnastfitmethod@gmail.com
